Welcome to the New Volunteer Marin!

The new site makes it easier than ever to be a volunteer and to find and coordinate volunteers. We are excited to make community change more accessible to more people.

Volunteer Marin, a program of the Center for Volunteer and Nonprofit Leadership, is a proud affiliate of the HandsOn Network, the volunteer-focused arm of Points of Light Institute. As such, we adopted the national logo in 2011 to highlight our affiliation with HandsOn's mission to inspire, equip, and mobilize people to change lives through service. HandsOn is the largest volunteer network in the nation and includes more than 250 Action Centers in 16 countries. In 2011 Volunteer Marin was honored to receive the George W. Romney Excellence Award, the highest award given to a HandsOn Affiliate.
